Industrial cameras – beyond the conveyor belt 

For more than 20 years XIMEA has developed, manufactured and distributed industrial and scientific cameras with an emphasis on cutting-edge technologies, a versatile product portfolio and custom designs for OEM partners.
Due to advances in image sensor developments, semiconductors, processing platforms and interfaces, the cameras typically used in factory automation, quality control and microscopy have found their way into various other fields of applications.
Nowadays, those applications span across areas such as sports, life science, agriculture, geo mapping, broadcast, performance capture, astronomy, VR/AR and many more.

Moving towards Scientific and Computational Imaging

Over the past 25 years Phase One has built its strong position in the market for Professional Photography based upon a portfolio of outstanding cameras and Capture One imaging software.
In the past 10 years this position has been complemented by a growing business area of Aerial Photography, and in parallel solutions for Cultural Heritage Imaging have emerged.

Today Phase One sees growth opportunities in the move of traditional photographic disciplines into new scientific applications involving new computational challenges. These disciplines include sequential imaging, which traditionally is used in professional photography for HDR and Focus Stacking. In a range of new scientific imaging areas, the use is moved into multi-spectral imaging and imaging for 3D applications.
